This year promises to be a bit different. I will continue to work with Artiq - the fast growing consultancy in Hackney's Canal side. In July I will be having a solo exhibition - showing all new work at the Saffron Walden Gallery.
Fulbrook House Gallery invited me to show smaller pieces at there Christmas show last year. With its crisp white walls, oak beams and rooms full of light, Fulbrook is the perfect backdrop to exhibit artwork. As usual Lindi and Woody produced a beautiful exhibition and got it 'just right'. They should run courses on how to do it!! An absolute delight to show with them.
Janet Hujon and I produced our book of poetry and paintings entitled 'Vessels and Visions' (see images below) We are now on our third print run. We were invited by Lindi Wood to talk to her Educating Senoritas group about our collaboration and Robert Parry (the actor from Nunky Theatre productions) did a wonderful job of reading the poems. we have also produced a range of greeting cards recently which include a poem and an image - cards and copies of our book are for sale from my studio or from Fulbrook House Gallery or the Saffron Walden Gallery. Janet has been busy translating the works of her home-state poet in Megalaya. What an achievement that is!
Artiq Ltd. have rented out one of my paintings to Casa di Stefano, an exclusive Italian restaurant in Mayfair, London W1. They have also sold three meter square landscapes two of the Cornish sea and one a molten volcanic place.
'Morgan Lovell', Soho, London purchased 'Tarifa' through Artiq- see image below.
I sold 'Stripey Jug' and am thrilled to see it in its new home - see image below!
I completed a large sea-scape commission - see image below. This was a little different from my usual as was Norfolk based with sand dunes!
Clare Hall, Cambridge now have one of my paintings in their collection! (see image below!) I very much enjoyed showing in their gallery.
